Sara (35′), a transwoman, has to return to her village to attend the funeral of her father. When arriving at the village she discovers that her mother is severely traumatized by her father’s death, has no memory left of her and treats her like a complete stranger. She attempts to recover her mother’s memories but fails miserably. Sara then decides to create new memories for her mother by play-acting as her late father, the person she despises the most and the reason she escaped her family a long time ago.
