
Nadya Anggawi
Manager of Yogyakarta Creative Forum & Producer
Born in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia in 1997, Nadya Anggawi grew up surrounded by moving images, with Indian films being a family favorite. During her university years, she actively joined a film community on campus, where she began creating short films. She pursued a degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Creative Media, studying cinematography theory and documentary film practice, and graduated in 2019.
Currently, Nadya works at Yayasan Laboratorium Kreatif Bosan Berisik, founded by ismailBASBETH and Charlie Meliala. an organization with two main programs: Bosan Berisik Lab, which focuses on film production and creative projects, and Bosan Berisik Institute, which focuses on education and public programs. At Bosan Berisik Lab, she serves as a Producer, while at Bosan Berisik Institute, she works as a Manager of Yogyakarta Creative Forum, a platform that connects artists and filmmakers from various disciplines.
As a producer, she believes in the power of cinema to create awareness and spark dialogue. She committed to supporting new talents and building projects that resonate locally while traveling internationally. In 2024, she participated in the Busan International Film Festival’s Platform Busan. In 2025, she participated in Producer Hub at Asian Contents & Film Market. She made her feature-length debut as a producer with the documentary Moelyono dan Seni Rupa Penyadaran (Moelyono and His Art of Consciousness).
At Bosan Berisik Lab, she is also developing several projects, including a short film titled Masa Biru (currently in pre-production) and participated in Jogja Lab 2024, three debut feature films by emerging directors. Additionally, she is collaborating with Ruang Basbeth Bercerita as a co-producer on the short film project Sang Penjaga.
